We’re a multi-disciplinary studio so when an opportunity like this presents itself, our brains really kick into overdrive.
As storytellers, the real challenge for us was to figure out a universal approach to this narrative. Skype is a global entity, independant of language and location, and so was this story. We decided to use fun and approachable characters made of clay.
Everything you see was built with our own hands and photographed on our in-house lighting stage. The animation was achieved through a unique combination of claymation, stop motion and digital key frames.
