Counterpoint Asset Management, is an Investment Adviser that provides absolute-return focused investment management services. Partner and founder, Michael Krause, drew inspiration from the compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach, well known for his mastery of counterpoint. As an asset management and mutual funds company, the brand needed to embody harmony and balance between diametrically opposed ideas—being innovative, tactical yet conservative. How was this possible? The answer was in the unique algorithm that Mr. Krause developed. Creative director, Chris Do, devised a solution that integrated the “digital DNA” into the “O1” of the word Counterpoint. The “O1″ design motif was extended into various marketing materials.
