Ogilvy/London invited director Greg Gunn to pitch on a unique spot advertising BP’s engine cleansing fuel solution. The design approach suggested using live action photography as the source, driving the motion, and then rebuilding the character out of engine parts – frame by frame.

Think of it like stop motion using CG, where each frame is carefully arranged and composed by hand out various mechanical pieces.
