MTee Sneak Peek

It’s been a busy December for Blind as ECD, Chris Do, traveled to the Far East to produce and direct a documentary film, in collaboration with The Brand Partner and their client Meters/bonwe, one of China’s largest retailers of fast fashion. With over 5000 stores throughout China, Meters/bonwe is rapidly expanding with hip, trendy and fashion forward clothing that’s highly accessible.

TBP’s Executive Creative Director and Founder, Imin Pao, called on Blind to develop the film– which celebrates the new voice of urban fashion, as seen through the eyes of the most relevant and influential designers, artists and media personalities from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. The project centers around the 40th anniversary of animated film, “Monkey King: Uproar In Heaven”.

Armed with a pair of Canon 5d cameras, Chris Do and Cinematographer, Marco Aslan, hopped from city to city during the 14 day shoot to document the street fashion scene. Principal photography wrapped on the 23rd, and though deep in the editorial process, here’s an early glimpse of some of the footage that was shot. More to come, so stay tuned.
