Excited by technology and the idea of the newly formed AV Club here at Blind, I took my camera out and decided to document one of this city’s most mesmerizing night scenes.

Armed with only a DSLR and two lenses, I made my ways through a night club and captured it while trying to stay undetected.  What started off as a technical test in guerrilla night shooting turned into a melancholic visual poem in the editing process.

Thank you to everyone at the AV Club who provided me with critical feedback and for my friend, Director of Photography (and one of our previous interns) Marco Aslan for the valuable conversations he had with me about the piece.

If you are interested in our AV Club, contact me to find out how to be a part of it.
